Happy Halloweekend!

So last night the most epic game of costume laser tag was held...we all got some pretty strange looks but we raaaped. 3 games and 2 high score players in our group! And the rest of us were mostly ranked at the top, so we did pretty well ;)

After laser tag we all went to Applebee's for dinner/drinks and it was nice to talk with everyone again! You kind of realize after high school that no one just really gets together and talks anymore. Birthdays are a nice way to get people together, cause if it's just a "hang out" rather than a party some people decide they just don't "feel like it" or something and you don't get to see people! But everyone gets brought together again for birthdays, and I've got at least 3 more birthdays to attend before the end of the year! So I should get some socializing in there somewhere!

Do any other girls find painting your fingernails to be a pain in the ass? I always end up touching something and screwing up the freshly painted coat that I just put on :/ even when I try to be super careful! I tend to have to paint my nails a couple times before I can get it to look okay (and not have any strange indents or fingerprints in the polish...) but when I was at Sephora the other day (with the Sea Otter!) I saw this stuff sitting beside the stand of nail polish...it totally made my day! It's called quick dry spray and it pretty much makes it so your nail polish dries in like 10 seconds. I put some nail polish on in the store to try it, sprayed my nail with the quick dry spray...then touched it like 5 seconds later and it was completely dry! So I'm super happy now because I don't have to spend a million years painting my nails :) and yes boys, I know you don't care...but for most girls this is a big deal! ;)

Oh and I also have realized I'm not so great at applying fake eye-lashes...I bought some little ones and I could not for the life of me get them put in the right spot! Took me like a half-hour yesterday to get them to look decent for the party! And now I'm going out again tonight (cause it's Halloweekend!) and I put them on again, and they look better today than they did yesterday...but I still need a lottt more practice!

TWICE IN ONE DAY I FIND MYSELF IN BEWILDERMENT!

I'm finally 19! Woot!

Went out for the "first drink" with the boyfriend and had a very yummy Main St. Rita (mango, wildberry smoothie thing-a-mabob with tequila!) and some dessert :)

I have turned my birthday party (happening this weekend) into an epic game of lazertag...in costume...cause we're cool like that.

After re-organzing and painting my bedroom I feel a lot more "grown-up"...my room is now a lovely grey with an accent wall of a darker charcoal grey. It used to be a turquoise-y blue that I chose when I was 10 years old. And now I have a place to hang up all my new clothes that I bought with my birthday money :)

I bought a really pretty new winter coat! And some other clothes...and shoes...and make-up...and a new bra! My back has been hurting a lot again lately so I'm hoping that having a bra that actually holds up my chest will help balance me out! And I have made it into a size 6 at H&M...which is a fairly nice accomplishment since I used to wear a size 10-12 on a regular basis!

I'd much rather be the size that I am now than a size zero...I'm not even sure how that is a size? I don't understand why people try to get themselves that skinny...the majority of the guys on the planet have agreed that people that skinny look unhealthy and would much rather date a "real woman" who has some curves! I'm a healthy 145 lbs (give or take 2-3 pounds!)...which is a good weight for my size (considering I'm barely 5'5") and I'm quite happy with myself now! My goal before wasn't to lose weight it was to be healthy, and now that I'm healthy I feel better and I'm not going to try to lose anymore! If it happens it happens, but I'd rather eat yummy, delicious food (and my starbucks!) than have to diet to lose a few pounds! Happy and healthy is much better than sad and skinny :)

Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning.

Cleaning of two kinds has occurred over the past week! Finally cleaned up my facebook friends list, got rid of over 100 "friends". And now I'm cleaning my bedroom...a lot...so I can paint. I'm sick of the bright blue/turquoise that my walls are right now, so I'm painting it grey (or rather my mother is painting it grey...but I picked out the colours!). 3 walls will be a lighter grey and one wall is going to be a dark charcoal-ish grey!

The Sea Otter and I have both decided to go back to school. It's an awesome school in downtown Vancouver and she's going for Hair and I'm going for Fashion Business! We've both had to post-pone our start dates though...but it was so we could keep our jobs...which is rather important when your student loans end up being over $10,000...

It would be really fantastic if school wasn't so expensive. I would have gone into fashion right out of high school...but sadly I don't just keep $15,000 in my bank account "just in case" I need it. It would be pretty awesome if I did have that much in my bank account though!

My course apparently comes with a crap tonne of homework and projects and studying. Which records have shown I'm not that great at. I'm attempting to change all that and I'll be getting some help from the friends and the boy along the way! I will need someone to make me do my homework instead of sitting and staring at it...hoping it will somehow do itself...

On another note...

My boyfriend sucks. He got me addicted to playing Zombie Lane on facebook. And it is taking away from the time that I should be using to clean my bedroom. So if my room doesn't get completely finished by the end of today I blame him.

His punishment is a rather large hickey and now he has to play scrabble with me on facebook (so I can kick his butt).

Welllll...it's been a while!

Took a much needed hiatus from blogging...dealt with some drama...figured out what I want in life and now I'm back!

I'm pretty much going to change the idea of this blog, it's going to end up more of a style/fashion blog, with some personal comments thrown in for fun! There are so many great things that I've found, and never posted...so be prepared to be bombarded with outstanding fashion images, websites and randoms! And of course I'll be throwing in some tattoos and possibly some memes I find entertaining.

Stoked that the new season of Project Runway (Season 9!) is airing in Canada this saturday (finallyyy). I wish it would air in Canada the same time as it does in the states, it would make it so much easier to tune into fashion week without spoiling the fun of who the winner is. And twitter makes it difficult to keep the winner a secret, especially when you follow people who live chat about the show while it's airing in the states and you can't watch it yet because you live in Canada! Damn the american television!

America's Next Top Model's newest season started tonight...haven't watched it yet because I tend to PVR things now instead of actually watching them live...I hate commercials. Heard a rumour it's going to be an "All-Stars" season though...that'll be interesting! I'm so glad new television is back, I was getting really sick of watching the same few episodes of things over and over again.

IT TASTES LIKE THE SMELL OF A CHINESE RESTAURANT

First topic of discussion today is TATTOOS! :)

I have 5 tattoos in total now :) and I'm in love with all of them!

Some people say "Why would you want to deface your body w

ith all that graffiti?", but it isn't graffiti, it's art work! I quite like my art collection

and I don't really care if other people don't. I'm getting my tattoos because I want them there to represent something in my life or something that has

happened in my life. Some people see you a little differently if you have tattoos. They don't always approve and think you're some sort of rebel child and are just out to cause trouble. They're more accepted now than they used to be, but there will always be those old fashioned ones out there! But you know what, most of these people who do

n't approve of an art collection on the body have large art collections in their houses. To me its a lot the same, when you invite people over to your house the

y see all your artwork and can take it one way or another. It's the same with tattoos! If they are visible then its like inviting someone to your house. You're showing them something you're proud of and want them to see, even if they won't like it. It's part of you, so its even more special! :)

I guess I should probably post some pictures of my tattoos now :P

Went to the beach yesterdaaay :) its so nice when its hot out! I'm pretty pasty at the moment, so I really needed that sunshiiine! I work inside in dim lit rooms all day and never see the sunlight, so its great when its sunny of the days I have off so I can get a little bit of a tan! Good times at starbucks and the beach with some friends, singing to good songs and playing football in the sun at the beach is pretty amazing (Y).

I thiiink I'm done, hadn't blogged in a long while so I thought I'd write some stuff for all the bored peoples out there with nothing else to do!

DO YOU WANT TO FEEL MY ERECTION

I got an iPhone 4 a little while ago, and I'm still kind of figuring out how to use it. It will randomly make a beep or vibrate or something while I'm using it and I have NO idea what the beep is about! I don't have any facebook notifications or text messages or anything and I can't figure out what the damn beep means! And I HAVE to know. It is bugging me. AND NOW IT SAYS I HAVE A TEXT MESSAGE AND I DON'T AND I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE IT GO AWAY. But I was also just informed that the previously mentioned beep was facebook chat!

Also, when I got my new iPhone, I was supposed to have unlimited texting like I did with my old phone. When the bill came this month it was like $400 on JUST texting. After a mild panic attack, my dad texted me and told me he had worked it all out! It turns out that the guy who changed our plan had given my dad his regular 125 texts per month, and had given me ZERO. Who gives a teenage girl zero text messages per month? But, turns out they were having computer problems when they did it and stuff got all screwed up, but its all better now so I'm happy :D

Super epic combined party last niiiight. SSB + hot tub + amazing rapping times with the besty (Y). Was also given a large piece of cake to take home, which will now become my "breakfast".

I have had a very retarded meal pattern lately. I go like an entire day eating a frappuccino from starbucks, an apple, and then maybe some dinner...and thats it. And this isn't just a sit around and do nothing day...its a full 8 hour work day! This confuses me so, because its not even like I'm hungry or anything? Then I eat food and feel like I'm just eating to eat, not because I was hungry...sounds like I'm starving myself or something, but I just don't feel like I need food! So thats why I'll occasionally eat an apple or some carrots or something, just to get some nutrition so I don't die! The Sea Lion also keeps telling me I need to eat, so I don't die :P but sometimes there's just nothing appetizing to eat in the kitchen! Then I can't think of something I want so I just don't eat! Seriously...bodies are confusing :P

Work!

Work has been going pretty well. I've been the only technician this week and managed to stay alive! The Dr. I work for has been rather impressed with me, because I'm new so I shouldn't be able to keep up or something :P but I'm happy cause he gave me a raise! :) And it also makes me happy cause he's told me that he's impressed with my refractions! (gibberish to most people, but to people who have glasses its that annoying "which is better: one or two" thing :P)

Friend of mine had a party bus for her birthday on friday the 13th! It was pretty epic :D meeting new peoples is always fun! Another party of epic proportions is going down this weekend too! Combined party of two friends, shall be great! Hot tub + good friends + food + awesomeness :D
